Dark glasses not provided...

Yes, here is another bright one!

Over at Try it on Tuesday we are asking you to make something that has either....

Bright or Seasonal Colours

So plenty of things to grab your imagination there! I decided to make a tag and play...not a plan in sight for this one but sometimes this is when you have the most fun............

I grabbed some of my brightest Distress Stains - Evergreen Bough, Picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick and smooshed them on the mat and added a few spritzes of water.

The tag was wiped through the colours building up some lovely colour swirls. I then decided to splat the stains - so pressing the stain down on the mat until the stain was just coming out, I then slammed it down on the tag - producing a lovely splat!

The quote was stamped with white ink...the white ink was quite pale so I decided to make it more vivid by adding white embossing powder

I then spritzed the tag lightly with Calypso Teal and White Linen Dylusions sprays - I really love to use these to add a fine spray of vivid specks of ink.

I stamped a flourish with Picket Fence DP.............

...........and added some die cut embellishments from the Festive Greenery Decorative strip die. I stained them with Evergreen Bough and Picked Raspberry DS and when dry I covered them with Glossy Accents glue and then covered them with Rock Candy distress glitter.

A vivid pink ribbon finished off the tag...and there we have my very bright tag!

and there we have my very bright tag!

Hope you come over and join us at Try it on Tuesday - bring along some bright and /or seasonal colours and have lots of fun!

Thanks so much for being here - See you all soon!
