Hi everyone!
I am sneaking in yet another post about something I made ages ago...So I am probably going to struggle to remember how I made it!
I started with a plain box and I wanted to experiment with texture. So I began by using my harlequin stencil and applied texture paste, patting the texture paste to leave a rippled effect.
I painted the box with gesso and then covered it with Pumpkin Soup Fresco paint and blended some Blood Orange and Hey Pesto Fresco paint over with a baby wipe. Then I dry brushed Chocolate Pudding Fresco paint over it.
I added some crackle glaze and after it was dry I rubbed some Chocolate Pudding Fresco paint into the cracks and then wiped it with a baby wipe.
The lid of the box was decorated with an image that had been stamped onto tissue paper. I then covered it with a thin layer of Pumpkin Soup paint to blend it in.
Various stamps and stencils were used over the sides of the box. Some stamps were on tissue paper and some stamped directly.
White Fire Treasure Gold was used to highlight the texture paste on the lid of the box.
A filigree metal flower and ornate button was added for decoration.
Hope you like it! Thanks so much for being here - Hope to see you again soon....
