Wings of Heaven

Hi everyone!

As you all know a while ago I got an email from Darcy Williamson asking me to if I could produce some samples for her new stamp sets that are being released by Paperartsy- I was thrilled and honoured to do so and I had a wonderful time working with these amazing stamps.

The one I am here to show today was made with the same stamp set as last time....

....these are the Fresco Paint colours I worked with...

Here is what I made with this wonderful stamp set!
I really love this stamp set...I found there were so many elements that could be tweaked and used in a multitude of ways. As you can see it is quite different from the tag I featured in the last post....

For this creation I painted the background with a diluted wash of Tango Fresco paint. I then darkened the edge of the piece using Spiced Marmalade and Fired Brick Distress inks. I used the bubble stamp to add texture to the background using a mix of Tango and Cherry Red Fresco Paint.

I stamped the wings with Jet Black Archival ink onto white card and then painted a shadow on each wing segment with Tumbled Glass Distress ink.

I stamped the quote onto card that had diluted Smurf Fresco Paint dabbed over it with a sponge. I added tiny circles in the corner of the quotes to match the circles on the wings

I stamped the wings again onto white card and cut out these segments....

.....to be some flower petals. I painted over them with diluted Smurf Fresco paint. The center of the flower was one of the circle stamps stamped onto card that had been painted with very diluted Tango Fresco paint and stamped the bubble stamp over it with undiluted Tango Fresco paint. I then stuck the wing segments on the back of the flower center.

I matched the dots around the center of the flower with swirls of dots made with a marker pen

I do hope you like it! Why not take a closer look at these gorgeous stamp sets that Darcy has designed. All these new stamps are available to buy now from a PaperArtsy retailer listed here.

You won't regret adding any of them to your stamp collection!

I'll be back very soon with the next of my Paperartsy Creations....stay tuned!

Happy Crafting
